Dictionary Entries explained

The dictionary entries consist minimally of a headword followed by the pronunciation of the word in phonetic characters. Then the abbreviation for the part of speech is given followed by the definition in French and then if possible in English.

Some words may have two or more distinct definitions which are numbered. Some definitions may be followed by the semantic domain category in parentheses.
