Introduction

 

The Bualkhaw Chin language group of Myanmar has a population of over 2,500 (2006). They reside in Chin state: Falam township, north of Falam town, Bualkhua, Phaizawl, and Khuang villages.

The language is classified as Sino-Tibetan, Tibeto-Burman, Kuki-Chin, Central, Lai. The ISO Code is cbl.
Alternate names for this language are Bualkhua and Phadei. There are no dialects of the language and it is closely related to Falam Chin.

The Bualkhaw Chin highly value their language and have been developing the writing system.
