All of the Galubwai Clan lived there together and then they spread out. Birds, trees, snakes, etc. were used as totemic clan designations, among the birds were: Gubalim, Waliliya, Dawati, Magesubu, Malibon & Bunebune. It is asserted in this text that the Galubwai Clan spread out from the Igola region at Boubouwa Mountain. Sulu Galubwai however, refers to the snake designation for a clan, not to the bird designation. Russ C. 2018-09-30.9.7.1.3Clan names1.6.1.3.1Snake
