ha̱a definite particle, in the obj. case, used after verbs, etc.; subj. case, hʋt, the which; the one which; tʋmaha ha̱, town it, or town the, Matt. 2:1; ishia ha̱, are you the one that goes? ha̱ is found after verbs and verbal nouns, derived from verbs more frequently than or ya̱, that which, but holisso ha̱, issuba ha̱, imanukfila ha̱, chula ha̱, are exceptions. This h may be the aspirate of the verb, which in speaking is carried over, like ilohia, spoken ilo hia. See a, particle.
