Maps

Choctaw was originally spoken in Mississippi and surrounding areas. From 1831-1833, the United States forced most Choctaws to move to new lands in Indian Territory. In 2020, Choctaw is spoken in the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, and in the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
