Foreword

In publishing this first attempt at a Lou - English dictionary online, it is my hope to attract the Lou people to be motivated to cherish and preserve their language. My desire is for them to take ownership of this dictionary, to correct the mistakes that inevitably occur and to provide example sentences for each of the entries and other information about the entries.

This first attempt has a mere 3800 entries; it would be my desire that additional entries be added as the Lou people begin to use this dictionary.
