The acknowledgements page from the print version of 2001:

According to the well-known story, Spider thought he could gather all the wisdom in the world and put it in his basket. Of course he failed. In the same way, we would have liked to have gathered all the words of Vagla and put them in this collection. But that is impossible. However we hope that what we have gathered here (about 4000 words) will help all Vaglas to appreciate their language and to use it in reading and writing.

Though the actual work of putting this dictionary together was done mainly by members of GILLBT (Marjorie Crouch and Patricia Herbert), we acknowledge with gratitude the work of Emmanuel Addai, James Kpaga and Simindɔn Kiipo, who were the main ones responsible for this collection of words and meanings. But we must also add that it would never have been accomplished without the wholehearted acceptance of all the Vagla people as we lived with them during various periods between 1963 and 1979. Therefore we take this opportunity ot express our thanks to them all.

Special mention should also be given to Yakoori Kurbua and his wife Kiipo, and Naatɔgma, who, along with many others, explained the meaning of the Vagla names entered at the end of this dictionary.
